Yun Woo-Sang

Abstract
This study seeks to review the theory of the dreams and drama methods for the dream drama. This article show the concepts of dream of Fred, Jung, Adler, Perls and the meaning of dream in psychodrama. And this study investigates how the dream works in psychodrama. Freud saw the dream as the early child`s sexual wish fulfillment. Jung saw the most fundamental function of the dream as a compensation of consciousness by unconsciousness. Adler said the dream is the expression of the life style. And perls saw the dream as the projection of dreamer`s character and he use the dramatic technique to interpretation of the dream. In psychodrama, dreams were regarded as being acted as one of surplus reality. The dream work in psychodrama has two types. The one is for dream interpretation, the another is for acting of surplus reality. The principle of the dream drama is that the protagonist must do the final interpretation of the dream.
